The advice is only as good as the advisor giving it and Zara is superb – not only in her guidance and thorough feedback and action plans but in her flexible approach and understanding of how a school day evolves and the different pressures on staff and rooms!

Cheryl does an outstanding job. We officially contract her for 50 days of provision, with 5 1-to-1 meetings per day. In reality, she ends up doing more and her flexibility in agreeing to make phone calls, support other provision like parents’ evenings, careers fairs, mock interview sessions, etc mean we have a knowledgeable resource that we can use in a variety of settings. Her willingness to go above and beyond to support our young people, tied in with her exceptional knowledge and experience, means she is one of the key drivers behind the success of our CEIAG provision here at OAJW.

Compass Careers provide an excellent service to the school- meeting young people to discuss their options and ideas for employment and training. Becky is quick to respond to emails and flexible in working practices- she has built positive relationships with young people who have a range of educational challenges, and is able to offer them useful and meaningful advice- promptly recording meetings as an individual careers action plan for each learner.
